This school is located 5 miles from Trincomalee, the main city of Eastern Province, to the north of the city. Celebrating its 54rd anniversary in 2024, this school is the proud head of the school, Father Selvanayakam. Students from many villages like Anandapuri, Nityapuri, Devanagar, Varodayanagar etc. study in our school. It is a 1C grade Kalavan school.
A decision was taken in the association meeting held on 20.02.1968 to establish a primary school in this village and permission to build the school was obtained on 24.09.1969. The perseverance of C. Kathirkamathampi, president of the association Mr. N. Thirunavukarasu, secretary Mr. Ko. Manuel, treasurer of the association, who worked for the said school in Gram Munnetra Sangam, is worth mentioning.

The school land and the first building were completed due to the donation of Mr. M. Jaganathan, who ran the Gunnadi factory. The foundation stone was laid on 07.11.1969 and the building was inaugurated on 25.03.1970 by Mr. M. Jaganathan.
Mr. S. Subramaniam, Mr. J. Krubairajah, Mr. Thillaiyambalam, Mr. K. Peranandham, Mr. R. P. Rajasuresh  Mr. V. Maheswaran have worked in this school continuously. Mr.V.Anatharajan is serving continuously.
